Yes, You Are Cherished helps Christian women experience the Father’s love more deeply, understand what is happening within them, and increasingly live from the secure truth of who they are in Him, especially in the messy moments of life and relationships.

Before you prove anything, fix anything, accomplish anything, or become anything more, you are already deeply known, wanted, and cherished by God. His love is not cautious or reluctant. It is lavish, personal, pursuing, and far more expansive than most of us have learned to receive.
And when that love begins to settle more deeply into the way you understand yourself, something changes. You begin to see yourself differently. You begin to understand your story differently. The patterns that once seemed to define you no longer have the final word. Your relationships, choices, longings, boundaries, courage, and sense of purpose can begin to grow from a different place.
Yes, You Are Cherished is an invitation to come home to that place.
Through Scripture, Christian spiritual formation, thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and practical life and relationship coaching, we learn to recognize what pulls us away from cherishedness and to live increasingly from the truth of who we are in the Father’s love.
Not striving to become cherished. Learning to live as the woman who already is.
Meet Verlette
For nearly four decades, my ministry has lived at the intersection of Christian ministry, relational growth, and personal transformation. I have spent more than 20 years with Focus on the Family’s Hope Restored marriage intensive program, where I serve as a marriage intensive therapist, Lead Therapist, and Clinical Trainer. Before that, I was a licensed minister in a major denomination, served as a full-time youth pastor, and then spent 10 years in a Christian residential setting ministering to struggling teenagers and their families as a counselor and Director of Counseling, while also discipling the college graduates who served as staff. What an amazing, God-appointed path! I often say that I get to sit on the 50-yard line, watching His miracles take place every week!
But this work is not only professional for me. Yes, You Are Cherished also grows out of my own journey of hurt, sorrow, relationships, healing, questions, even seasons of doubt, and an ever-deepening faith.
Along the way, I have been learning what it means to live from a deeply settled sense of being cherished by my Father God, held close by Jesus, my Savior and Friend, and accompanied by the ever-present Holy Spirit, my Comforter and Companion.
I have not always walked that journey quietly. God and I have had words at times. I have questioned, argued, wrestled, cried, clung to His words, and held tightly to His hand. And again and again, I have discovered that He is big enough for all of it. His love does not retreat from my weakness, confusion, grief, or even my protest.
He has met me there, loved me through it, and become increasingly precious to me in both my sorrows and my joys.
I hope your own heart and life come to know the richness, steadiness, and abundance of His love more and more too. ❤️
